PIU is the result of dynamic, openminded winemaking that’s rooted in our history and culture.
We harvest autochthonous varieties grown on centenary vines whose berries are vinified using age-old methods. The key to understanding these wines is the old clay vessels in which they mature.

We also use artisan techniques to make sparkling wine using local varieties. Following the region’s traditional method, we start bottling immediately after fermentation has begun to create natural effervescence.
